From October 9th to 11th, our partner PRAXENS took part in the annual Fête de la Science, a major national event that makes science accessible, engaging, and inspiring for everyone on the Campus of Navarre in Évreux.
PRAXENS hosted an interactive workshop showcasing the use of algae in human food. Visitors were invited to watch an educational short film explaining how algae can be transformed into sustainable and nutritious food ingredients. Alongside the screening, various algae-based products—including spirulina pasta, beverages, and other innovative items—were displayed for tasting and discussion.
To make the experience even more engaging, an olfactory game challenged schoolchildren to identify raw materials and co-products based on their scents. This playful activity sparked curiosity while illustrating the diversity of algae applications.
