From 10th to 12th March, Rennes (France) hosted the CFIA 2026, one of the most significant trade fairs for the agri-food sector. Our project partners, Valorial and PRAXENS, were present to showcase the latest advancements in food innovation and the strategic opportunities offered by the Hub4Food project.

As part of the event, Valorial (the French agri-innovation cluster) co-coordinated the “Agri-Food Factory of the Future” exhibition area in collaboration with Bretagne Next. This specialized space was designed to highlight international activities and European-funded initiatives, providing a platform for stakeholders to explore new frontiers in the industry.

The primary objective of this participation was to promote exchange between research, technology, and industry players. To foster a dynamic environment, Valorial introduced a dedicated space for Hub4Food, where visitors could learn about the project’s mission to enhance the competitiveness of the Atlantic food sector.

To make the experience more interactive, the team organized a specialized quiz on food innovation and European projects. With the objective of arouse curiosity among industry professionals and initiate strategic discussions regarding the food of the future.

The presence of Hub4Food at CFIA 2026 underscores the importance of building robust bridges between European innovation ecosystems and industrial players. Events like these are essential for the Hub4Food consortium to ensure that scientific and technological advancements effectively reach the SMEs and manufacturers who will shape a more sustainable agri-food landscape.
