On 3rd, 4th and 5th December, Hub4Food was present at the Funds Exhibition in Coimbra (Portugal). This is an initiative by Portugal 2030 aimed at businesses and the community, with the goal of providing a broad overview of the projects and investments promoted by European funds in Portugal.

Hub4Food was represented during the three days by its Portuguese partners, InovCluster, CATAA and MARE–IPLeiria, who sought to convey and demonstrate to visitors the general scope of the project and the initiatives it is implementing in the Atlantic Region.

On 3rd December, MARE – IPLeiria promoted the dissemination of the project, as well as the two pilot projects currently underway. As part of one of the pilot projects, implemented in partnership with the company Allmicroalgae, some microalgae were presented, as well as their characteristics and potential applications in food. In this context, a proof of concept was carried out, with some food products containing microalgae and macroalgae being made available for participants to try. eto, highlighting support for companies, promoting knowledge transfer and strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs in the Atlantic Region.

On 4th December, Inovcluster promoted the Services Catalogue and participated in a pitch presentation of Hub4Food, contributing to a broader and more strategic dissemination of the project among visitors and the business ecosystem present.

On 5th December, CATAA promoted the Hub4Food project among visitors, with a special focus on its contribution as a technical-scientific partner in the area of innovation and valorisation of agri-food products. During this day, CATAA communicated with visitors about the project’s lines of action, highlighting support for companies, promoting knowledge transfer and strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs in the Atlantic Region.
