Hub4Food partners met in Rouen (France) from 1st to 2nd of October 2024 where the actions carried out to date and the next steps were discussed, with the ultimate goal of promoting the development of new and better food products (focusing on marine origins) and testing innovative technologies, as well as enhancing the innovation capabilities and connections of the Atlantic food industry ecosystem.

During the first day, partners gathered to discuss the next steps for the development of innovative seafood products and the testing of innovative technologies were discussed. In addition, a technological roadmap was prepared highlighting the main innovative technologies that can be applied in the food industry, as well as a map of facilities where companies can access and test these technologies. It will also include pilot projects in which companies can test technologies or processes in collaboration with the Hub4Food technology centres.

On the second day the consortium visited the facilities of two partners, LEMPA and PRAXENS, with the aim of promoting collaboration and exploring innovative solutions in food production and sustainability.

These visits were crucial in strengthening the consortium’s collaboration and accelerating the common mission of transforming the future of food through sustainable practices and advanced technologies.
